Jan 31, 2011 How do I install Skype on my second computer Mac iBook G4 10.4.11 Tiger. Curently using Skype on personal computer (Dell) I am very satisfied with the performance. My Skype name is bill.milford1. I would prefer to do this via telephone at my expence and pay for the assisstance. Any iBook G4 can install using this as t he first one in late 2003 came with Mac OS X 10.3 and stopped support at Mac OS X 10.4.11 while the latest iBook G4 came with Mac OS X 10.4.2 and stopped at Mac OS X 10.5.8, so ultimately, all iBook G4 models were upgraded to Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger at some point.

1) Use a USB microphone (such as the Logitech USB Desktop Microphone) instead of the iSight microphone.
2) Use the latest Skype for Mac software, which is version 2.5.0.63 (<http://www.skype.com/download/skype/macosx/25beta.html>).
3) Close most or all other open applications when using Skype.
4) Use external speakers and move them away from your microphone to minimize echo noise.
5) Minimize your speaker volume.
